I built a compact gaming PC featuring a Ryzen 9600X and RTX 5070, housed in a case that perfectly fits a Micro ATX motherboard.
This build uses the Mechanic Master iF17 V2 (18.5L) case with Lian Li TL Wireless fans installed throughout.
CPU cooling is handled by a lowprofile cooler with its original fan replaced by a TL LCD fan.
I'm very satisfied with the final result from an aesthetic standpoint, but if cooling performance is a priority, a larger CPU cooler would be a better choice.
The case supports 120mm fans on all sides, but bigger fans like the TL can be challenging to install.
At the rear, there wasn't enough clearance to properly secure the fan with screws, so I used an alternative method to keep it firmly in place.
The two bottom fans also slightly interfere with the panel mounting points when closing the case.
If you're planning a build with the iF17 case, I recommend using 120mm fans with recessed or cutout side frames.
These fans provide better clearance around the mounting points and make installation much easier without interference.
