This bowl is a gift for me on my day off...☆

*Ingredients

300g tofu(1 block), 14 sheets rice paper, some warm water, 5g black mushroom,

some salt, some pepper, 6 tablespoons cooking oil, 1/4 red paprika, 1/4 yellow paprika, 1/4 onion, 1/3 carrot, 150mL water, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 4 tablespoons sugar, 5 tablespoons vinegar, 1 tablespoon starch, 3 tablespoons water

*Recipe

1. Soak the black mushroom in cold water for about 30 minutes, rinse in cold water, and chop into bitesized pieces.

Cut the tofu into bitesized pieces as well, and drain it using paper towels.

Sprinkle some salt and pepper and leave for 10 minutes.

2. Chop the red&yellow paprika, onion, and carrot into adequate pieces.

Mix the water, soy sauce, sugar, and vinegar in a bowl. Prepare the starch water, too.

Tip! You can use potato starch and cornstarch instead!

3. When the tofu is salted, wet the rice paper in warm water and wrap the tofu. Repeat this step.

4. Swirl some cooking oil on a heated pan, and fry both sides of the tofu wrapped in rice paper on medium heat.

5. Swirl some cooking oil on another heater pan, and stirfry the paprika, onion, carrot, and black mushroom for 5 minutes on medium heat.

6. Pour the sauce and boil. When it starts to boil, add the starch water to make it thick.

Pour the sauce on the fried tofu, and the sweet and sour tofu is done!
